Transport Canada

Attention All Transport Canada Re-qualifiers

This is to inform you that Transport Canada is no longer requiring procedures to be submitted to them for "K" marking of cylinders manufactured after 1993 or the application of a "+" to cylinders manufactured prior to 1993.  We have also started introducing new procedures for re-qualifying cylinders in accordance with CSA B341 & B342.  In addition, we have provided a link below to a newsletter that will explain in detail why these changes have been brought into effect.

Some Examples:

"K" marking - TC3AM, TC3AAM

"+" marking - ICC, CTC, BTC and DOT in 3A, 3AA
